Hello friends and readers we are talking about a theory that I think is worth hearing.
STRONG-LINK Vs WEAK-LINK
In life there are two types of teams that we will be talking about today which are Strong-link and Weak-link teams.
Let's begin with Strong-Link, this is what happens in basketball there are 5 players and odds are there is 1 or maybe 2 people who are in the top 1% of players in the word then you have the rest that are barely better than meh. Because of the small court size and ability of one player to dribble the entire length of the court by himself he can win the game by him self, so he is the Strong-link of his team and does between 70-80% of the work to win.
Then we have Weak-Link teams which is like Football (Soccer to my American friends) which is played on a pitch more than 4 times as big but only has 11 players playing per team and ergo needs lots of passes between the players to do anything. With this sport the weakest link usually causes the loss of the game because that player isn't good enough to deal with how good a player like Messi is.
In conclusion if you are a football fan and want to win more than anything else which is highly unlikely because we live in a capitalist system and money wins every single time, so they will continue to prefer to buy 1 100million play then 3 30million players. Which means they won't win as much to be honest isnt in the spirit of the game there are many ways of changing this like changing the rules to add more players make the pitch smaller or force a rule that pulls up the cheaper players
