1) HIS FULL NAME IS EDWARD CHRISTOPHER SHEERAN, MBE

MBE is the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, which Sheeran was awarded with on 7 December 2017. 

2) SHEERAN WAS NAMED THE BEST-SELLING GLOBAL ARTIST OF THE YEAR IN 2017

Thanks to his albums, Divide and Shape of You, Sheeran managed to scoop the coveted award. The album Divide went multi-Platinum in 36 countries. 

3) THE SINGER-SONGWRITER DREAMS OF WRITING A SOUNDTRACK FOR DISNEY

Sheeran admitted in an interview to being jealous of Sir Elton John for his contribution to the Lion King movie.

4) SHEERAN HAS APPEARED IN HIT-TV SERIES SUCH AS GAME OF THRONES AND THE SIMPSONS

It’s been announced that Sheeran will play Lisa’s love interest in The Simpsons. He also appeared on the first episode of season seven of Game of Thrones in 2017.
